Founder & CEO
Oysterworld / Physical Intelligence Foundry
"From Oakland to Physical Intelligence. I don't pitch ideas. I ship hardware, then show you the revenue."
The Story
I grew up in Oakland — humble beginnings, immigrant family, wrong side of the odds. I got into fights at school. Got bullied for my broken English. I fought back. Every time.
The blood of a venturer, an entrepreneur, always lived in me. While other kids were doing homework, I was sneaking out of school to attend business conferences. I had a passion I couldn't explain — a burning need to build something that would change the world.
Getting into UC Berkeley Haas School of Business changed everything. I learned from the best in the field. By senior year, I wasn't writing a thesis — I was founding my first venture-backed company: MPCVault, a digital asset custody platform that grew to $5B in assets under management, serving 1,000+ businesses.
Then I built Oyster Republic. Grew it to $4M in revenue in two years. No outside capital. No permission. Just execution. 5 product lines, 25,000 devices deployed across three continents.
Every chapter taught the same lesson: the biggest opportunity in AI isn't more models. It's giving AI the ability to perceive the physical world. That conviction became Oysterworld — a Physical Intelligence foundry where hardware products are conceived, designed, manufactured, and shipped — all under one roof.
Track Record
Grew up in Oakland with humble beginnings. Immigrant kid, broken English, got into fights, got bullied. Skipped school to attend business conferences. The entrepreneurial fire was always there — it just needed fuel.
Got into UC Berkeley Haas. Learned from the best in the field. Built the analytical foundation for scaling hardware businesses from zero. Founded first venture-backed company in senior year.
Built institutional-grade multi-party computation infrastructure for securing digital assets. Scaled to 1,000+ Web3 businesses across Asia and North America.
$5B Assets Under Management 1,000+ ClientsJoined RAVV, a family office of a Taiwanese business, which opened the door to becoming a Limited Partner at UC Berkeley's premier startup accelerator, Berkeley SkyDeck. Got to know the Berkeley ecosystem deeply and founded Erupture Angel Network — an angel investment network at UC Berkeley. Gained deep pattern recognition for what separates companies that ship from companies that pitch.
Berkeley SkyDeck LP Erupture Angel NetworkSaw the gap: AI has brains but no eyes. Built a full-stack hardware foundry — from industrial design to manufacturing to OS development — shipping consumer devices that double as a distributed sensor network for AI agents. $4M revenue in two years. No funding. Just execution.
$4M Revenue 25K Devices 5 Product LinesThe Thesis
The AI industry is pouring billions into models that can think but cannot see. Figure AI raised $675M to build robot bodies. Physical Intelligence raised $600M to build robot brains. World Labs raised $1.23B to simulate worlds.
Nobody is building the eyes at scale.
Every autonomous system — every robot, every self-driving car, every AI agent operating in the real world — needs verified, real-time sensory data from the physical environment. Not synthetic data. Not simulations. Ground truth.
I've spent the last two years building the infrastructure to provide it: consumer hardware that people actually want to buy, running open-source software that turns every device into a physics-verified sensor node. The hardware pays for itself through retail sales. The data network grows with every device shipped.
This is what Physical Intelligence looks like when someone actually ships it.
Unfair Advantages
From Oakland streets to $4M revenue with $0 raised. 5 product lines launched. 25K devices deployed. Most founders need funding to start. I need funding to scale what already works.
Industrial design. PCB engineering. Oyster OS (Android 14). OpenClaw runtime. PINNs verification engine. Token economics. One founder runs the entire pipeline from concept to shipping box — 5 product lines, 3 continents.
Built a proprietary AI development system: 32 autonomous agents across 13 compute nodes producing code at 13x human throughput. One founder, shipping like 50 engineers.
Co-founded MPCVault to $5B AUM. LP at Berkeley SkyDeck. Founded Erupture Angel Network at UC Berkeley. Not a first-time founder guessing — a repeat builder with institutional credibility and deep Bay Area ecosystem ties.
Operating Philosophy
Prove the model works with real customers paying real money. Then raise to pour fuel on the fire, not to figure out if there's a fire.
The AI agent factory runs 24/7. We push code every day. Speed is the only moat that compounds.
Every device sold generates revenue AND grows the data network. The business model is self-reinforcing: hardware margins fund network expansion.
Not "we use AI." We ARE AI. 32 autonomous agents write our code, test it, and deploy it. The company itself is a demonstration of the technology we're building.
Connect
I'm raising a $1M Builder Round at $30M post-money (SAFE). 80% goes to go-to-market, 20% to engineering. This is the first outside capital — 100% founder-owned going in.
If you back builders who ship first and fundraise second, I'd love to connect.
The Opportunity
$4M revenue. 25K devices. 5 product lines. Zero funding.
100%
founder-owned. First institutional round.
